Stunk up the joint on the pond today with the new skiff. Put in at Old Federal at 6:30 recovered at noon.

Air temp: 63
Water temp: 81
Water clarity: Clear
Wind: Calm

Me and two or three other boats started in Orr. Marked one good loose school and got hit a couple of times, but no hookups.

Ran down to FB, same story. Over to TM same story. Sat on a "hot spot" in the mounth of Two Mile and had fish passing by for a good 30 mins. Again no takers.

A little freebee thown in with the shot:
Screen shot of a nice tight school. Looks like I went right smak dab over the top of em. Geez, can't remember where that was.

Cool screen capture. I would guess those are spotted bass at 21 feet, but I could be wrong. Last Saturday, we saw fish around 20 feet deep, reeled up to them, and caught a spot just then. The striper were deeper for us that day, around 40 feet.

If you're downlining, with the water this clear, I think now is a good time to lengthen the leaders. I like at least 8 feet these days.

Thanks for the report, and Good Luck out there!
