I talked the wife into all 5 of us going... very nice for a change. This was the first trip on the boat for the littlest guy! We tubed and swam for the first half, then downlined 1 dozen BBs the second half, with decent results for just that much bait. I do believe we had a few extra baits, though. First fish was an 8.2 pound striper, and was caught within 10 minutes (especiall good for trips with kids). Then a little spot, then a 6 pound stripe, all pretty quick. Then back home. All fish came from the same place. The 6 pounder wouldn't go back down, so it came home with us, but, the other 2 were released and didn't float. I almost got away without cleaning fish today
Beautiful day, today, and we all had a fun time. It wasn't quite as crowded as I thought it would be, but plenty crowded of course. Water was 84-ish, and very clear.
A few pics (in order): This little guy steers like a pro (alcoholic).

Awesome day Charles: A day out with the entire family and some stripes to boot! How can it get any better. You did a great job at getting them with todays traffic.

Nice report Charles....it took me a while to get it down, but if you're attentive, you can troll umbrellas and leadcore while pulling the kids on the tube.

Thanks, guys. I failed to mention a funny mishap, because I wanted a little video to go along with it first...
A funny 7 second video:
I forgot to tell them the fish should be IN the net, and the rod should stay OUT of the water. LOL Kids... you have to tell them everything!
As best I can tell, that fish took both baits, and the fish plus my daughter pulled a rod out of my wife's hands. There's a memory we won't soon forget. We did get both the fish and the rod landed safely.

Ok... I've made it public now. Sorry about that. Next time, if I grab the camera, I'll hang it around my wife's neck while I attend to the goings on. I actually did LOL while this was all happening... until I realized I had a rod underwater I didn't see everything unfold, because I had tunnel-vision from getting video.
