Hey guys,

Has anyone else had this happen. Was out on the pond yesterday and all of a sudden the HDS10 screen went dim. It was like the brightness control on its own just started rolling back to the dimmest setting.

Finally was able to shield the unit from the sun enough to see which brightness setting it was on. Was still showing 10. A shutdown and restart brought it back to normal.

Bill Carson!!!!! smile

I've got the same thing going on, same as some others I know with an HDS 10 (that use it frequently enough to have this happen). The only fix to the situation is to turn it off and then back on.
