After two weeks of gettin stuff installed and fixed up on the new ride tomorrow am I'm actually going to get to use her for what I bought it for....Striper fishing.

She's a 2010 Carolina Skiff 238 DLV w\Suzuki 150, TTop, HDS-10 and Structure Scan, MinnKota Riptide ST w/iPilot.

Couple of pix before the TTop was installed.

You'll want to change how you installed the trolling motor, so that it is off to one side, not down the middle.

It'll get in your way on the deck. The iPilot doesn't care about starting alignment, so you angle it to the side so that it hugs the line of your bow. No one will trip over it and go overboard.

The number one reason that folks go with a Carolina Skiff is for the room and fishability. This includes the casting decks/platforms that come on the front of them nowadays. I just think your trolling motor shaft will be all up in the way, but fish off of it for a while and see what you think.

If you angle the trolling motor, you'll have the entire front deck to do as you please. It is just my perspective on things. I have an 08 238DLV.
