Got out yesterday late to test a new "lure" and managed 7 on leadcore with 8 1/2 colors out. I am using a "Pulse Jig" which I am way impressed with!!!! I will try to post pictures of the jigs later but they are marketed by Buckeye Lures and can be seen at www.buckeyelures.com.

What general area wher you locating them in?

That just looks like a scrounger head. What where you tipping it with? Tsunami?

Was tipping it with a Fluke and yes it looks like a scrounger but seems to have a little more action from what I can tell.

They have a little stiffer bill on them. They're also more consistent on the retrieval and won't spiral.

Yesterday we shot a video for Lowrance's new Sonic Hub that will start shipping this next week. It is an stereo that links up with the HDS units and has a water proof craddle for the i-Pod stuff including the iPhone. It also suppots USB and can even play from any source with a audio jack. There will be one of these given away at the 2010 Lanier Striper Fest along with lots of other cool stuff.

Oakwood Bait and Tackle has the Pulse jigs in stock.

They also have the new Lazer Lure with the soft body jig now. I imagine that would be a great bait on lead core as well.

Bill, what size were you using. I bought a few at Oakwood Bait but have not boated a fish yet with them. 8.5 colors back. How fast?

Got out this afternoon for a little while to demo the Tidewater to a couple of guys that mainly saltwater fish and have never boated a striper. We pulled a couple of lead core lines for about 45 minutes and the Pulse Jig with the Albino Fluke was the only thing that scored.
