We are at Cape San Blas this week and decided to try some scallop hunting. We did very well with about 3 gallons. We did not know how many we would find and were surprised to find hundreds. We cleaned about 150 and had a nice snack. If you get the chance to do this sometime I suggest you do it. Also I have never been to a place that is more boat friendly then here. the condo we are in has a carport with a boat storage. There is a boat ramp in the state park around the corner. We caught a lot of fish from the beach and rented a boat in the bay and caught a bunch of differet fish. Nothing major but a lot of fish. We wanted to caught some redfish but we did not catch any.
