Just wanted to let everyone know there is another bait store on the lake. The Bait Shack has opened at Bald Ridge Marina near the gas dock. They do have herring and you can pull the boat right up almost to the door. If you find yourself in the area, swing by and check them out. The store number is 770-887-2248.

There is also a new bait store that opened on the North End....Smokey's Bait shop is located at the Wahoo Creek boat ramp.....He'll deliver bait to the ramp for those who are interested in that.....Cj

OK, I'll answer my own question. The Bait shop at Bald Ridge is on the gas dock. They don't fill your bait tanks/live wells with water. They charge $7.00/dz for bluebacks and they open at 5:30 every day. They close at 5:00 p.m. except Friday & Saturday, then it's 7:00 p.m. Phone number 770-887-BAIT.

They also sale rods, reels, u rigs and tackle.
