More fishing!
I'm back and ready to ask even more questions about spot fishing on the banks of Lake Lanier. I know all of you guys have fancy shmansy boats and I can't wait for the day that I have my own.
Anyway, I want to know how the shore and dock fishing is around the southern side of the lake, particularly around the Sunrise Cove, Aqualand, and LLSC areas. I know that right in the belly of the cove that touches Old Federal's camp ground, LLSC and Aqualand is a hot spot out in the open water, but I can't get to those areas so easily. I'm refined to casting distance from any dock or bank.
Is there any place where I can have a promising set of strikes in that area. My Toyota Camry ( I call him Tank) and I can go anywhere that there's a road. I am familiar with all three of the marinas listed. Please please please, tell me that I can have some luck with freelining a minnow or using a float and minnow in these areas. I fish with artificial lures and worms, but I want some real action. And, from what I understand, nothing works better than live bait.
