Hey, all. To all of my fellow fisherman. On May 15th, The Georgia Transplant Foundation is putting on a fantastic tournament on Lanier out of Laurel Park. It will be a $10,000 1st place payout with a minimum of 150 boats. There will be a Friday night dinner and auction for the tournament at the Gainesville Civic Center on Friday night. Tom Mann, Jr. will be our emcee and will assist in our weigh duties on Saturday. This is a team tournament with a $200 entry fee. Individuals may fish for the same entry fee. Shane's Rib Shack will provide our Friday night dinner and Bojangles will be our breakfast provider on Saturday. We are urging everyone to register A.S.A.P. Our ad is in April's G.O.N., on the federations website and other outlets. There will be a tagged fish promotion for a new Chevy truck from John Megal Chevrolet. 150 boats @ $200.oo entry is $30k. I can see a $10k pay out. I assume this is a green fish tournament?? The only way I could compete with these guys is by using BB's.
