I went ahead and deleted the bait store topic. We are lucky to have numerous great bait stores on the lake.

Why not delete the Hammond's grand opening topic then? Just curious. Folks were asking about where to get bait. I only know of Hammond's, Timberghost and Oakwood. Any stores on the east side? Nobody can compete with a brand new bait holding facility like Hammond's and 5 bucks/dozen is a deal... and no I have zero loyalty or connections. Just the facts. Does the old Dam Store still sell bait or is it even open? I miss Budda. Thanks for this board and all your input Clay. Tight Lines!

Can we discuss which is better, Cabelas or Bass Pro? Or who makes the best reels? I can see deleting individual comments, but not the whole thread. Having people comment on your services is part of the price of doing business.

I guess maybe I worded the thing wrong. I was not knocking Hammonds or anyone else for that matter just trying to ask a question more or less about the Timberghost hours since I just noticed them being closed on Sunday. I suppose what I see as an innocent question just isn't that in others eyes. Oh well, I'm done with it!

Honestly, I have been out of town and did not want it to get out of hand with me being gone. It could easily have went down the wrong road. Sometimes better to "nip it in the bud" I think is the saying.
