Fished at night friday and saturday. Fished Friday night with Tom and Danny. It was fairly slow action. Caught 5 nothing bigger than 10lbs. Tom lost a good one. Had a bunch of bumps. A lot of short hits. No real action till full moon shoed itself. Most were caught on McStick.

Saturday, fished with Paul and Joe. A better night by far. Caught 8 nice fish between 8 and 15 lbs. Everything on the Bombers. Mostly on Yellow/Chicken Scratch. Fished from 8:30 to 12:00.

Fished monday with John and Jim. Morning trip from 7:30 to about 1:00. Started slow. Lots of boiling action in the back of flat in the 1st hour. Way to much boat traffic for a Monday. Left out and started fishing main lake points and flats. Caught 6 up to 15 lbs. Also caught a jumbo 6 1/4 lb Spot. We saw the coolest thing ever. Watched a Herring on a planner board getting hit. It came out of the water with a 3lb Spot on its back. The Bass surfaced again with a Monster Striper Chasing him. I wish we had it on video, quite amayzing. Maybe a 25-30 lber eating a Spot. We did not land the Striper. Water temps were up to 64-65 on the Main Lake.

Thanks for the report. We camped on an island and fished the back of flat friday night-- nothing but other boats and no real action. Lots of herring in the little dead end creek off to the right before going all the way back, but no hits on live or lures. Much later that night, as you mentioned, the moon finally rose and ~ 2-3 am we could hear fish crashing the surface all over the lake--- but couldn't get the boys to move to go after them. Not much going on saturday morning; I think the night action had them off the feed in the morning.
Monday took my youngest and my wife out for a few hrs in Mud creek; a few spots but not a striper to be seen above or below anywhere. Had some big ol' spots nailing the herring out at the mouth around the islands, but still no sign of stripes. Beautiful morning for my wife, and just enough bass action to keep the boy happy--- me, I'm always happy to be fishing but man i kinda like that catching part, too.....

I'm thinking about putting in south next trip--- seems like the action near the dam should be cranking up soon. Any reports from around there?
