McStick 8 Stripers, Bomber 1 Striper, you do the math. Hard to believe my faithfull Pink Bomber was stomped 8 to 1. McStick on absolute fire. I agree with Tim F., the hooks are not designed for Stripers. They will straighten on every fish. I had already made the investment in my only Mcstick I owned. I put Gamakatsu trebles all round, making the bait a $16 investment. Just like Murphys Law, the inevitable happened, while casting, the line was wrapped around the rod tip and the 70' cast actually went more like 120' and it never got wet. I lost it deep into the trees. Never found it. So Lionel, pictured here with his 1st catch of the night, punished me. He caught 8 Stripers on his Mcstick, not to mention a Largemouth kicker. My Pink/Chicken scratch/blue and every Bomber I had on board amounted to 1 Striper. I enjoyed watched Lionel all night. He was like a kid in a candy store.
