Fished a midlake creek with John Bowen from 7:30P.M. to 11:30P.M. throwing Bombers. Although we experimented with various colors, pink was the answer. We caught several six pounders and one fourteen pounder.

Nice! I've never tried the bomber game ... only u-rigs and pulling bait. If you don't mind my asking, were you in open water or throwing shallow?

We were throwing the Bombers to the bank and retrieving them fairly slowly.

Every once in a while we would have to ease the boat to the bank to get a Bomber out of the trees, rocks, etc. When you shine your light in the shallow water (one to three feet), you see plenty of bait (minnows).

Good job guys. Its nice to see John or hear John was on the water. He gets grouchy sitting behind that counter all day. Larry, I guess your next up.
