Well today was my daughter's birthday and I chose to make her happy instead of myself. A friend of mine went without me for some crappie. He was fishing structure on the deeper banks for crappie (maybe a little early) and was wearing the catfish out on minnows. So, if you're not catching anything else the freek'n catfish are biting.

Interesting... I did a little bank fishing 3/12, between rain showers. I was using crappie minnows, and was surprised to have caught 2 large-mouth bass. One at Toto Creek, then another (maybe 3 pounds) at Thompson Creek.
