I took my almost 7 yr old out today for Crappie. After going through 2 juice boxes, a bag of doritos, a Hershey bar, and the last of the chocolate chip cookies,it was do or die. Out of snacks and getting grouchy he managed to catch his 1st Crappie. We caught a few trolling jigs in Flat Creek. Notice the empty cooler bag of snacks.

Priceless Bob. I have 11 and 7 yr old boys and they clean out the cooler before any fish enter the boat. That's easy for us because we have been skunked every day on Lanier,lol.

That's a great first crappie! I'm not sure why, but boats make snacks twice as good as anywhere else. Congrat's to you both.
