Just a heads up........I have a large blister and irritation area on my wrist from the co-pilot controller. I started itching while wearing it yesterday and never payed it any attention because I had a few heavy layers of clothing on. After leaving the lake I took the controller off and noticed it was leaking battery acid. I took it apart and evidently it got water in it some how and deteriorated the battery.

Yesterday wasn't a total bummer we did have a blast going to the Supercross at the dome last night.

I have some Scooby Doo band aids that work wonders on burns.

If it's a lithium battery, worse things can happen when they get wet. It's been a while since I studied these things, but I'm 99% sure lithium (a whole element group actually) explodes in H2O.

Lithium, sodium, and potassium are all dangerous around water. All three can burn in water. Even though I'm a retired industrial chemist, it's been a long time (high school) since I dealt with these elements, but best I remember, potassium is actually explosive in water. So don't eat too many bananas and then drink water or you could develop a bad case of heartburn and also pass a lot of gas. Just kidding about the bananas. laugh

It actually looks better today. No big deal though, I just wanted everyone to watch out for those of you that might have a worse reaction.

You might want to put a wrist band on (underneath) the remote. How did it get wet. I have 3 of those remotes. None of which have ever broken a seal. I normally keep an extra battery or two laying around. Change them out seasonaly. Never saw that before.
