Clay,

I will be staying at the lake next week and fishing everyday. It looks like the weather is going to cool off considerably and I'm wondering what affect that may have on the stripers. Just trying to do as much pre-planning as possible.

Its hard to say. Some winters the fish stay deep on the downline and some years they stay up more shallow depending on where the bait decides to go. Be sure to keep the planer boards in the boat from now on. In case the fish get up shallow. Also, plan to fish more on the north end of the lake.
