Did any of you read the article in GON about all the striper and hybrid records that were set in Georgia at various lakes during 2009? Everybody heard about the big 63 lber and I had caught wind of a few here and there, but never thought about just how many records were broken throughout the year. There were a bunch of them. Check it out if you have the chance.
It just makes you wonder when that record of 46 lbs at Lanier is going down......there's some in there worthy of it - it's just going to take someone fishing with a threadfin in the dead of winter to catch it.

I'd like to see the new record striper at Lanier caught in the next year or two. The 44 caught last year was awfully close and if it would had been released......there's the new record fish if it were to have been caught this year. There are more - they are just few and far between.
Maybe this spring!!!!
