had a family get together up at carters lake this past weekend. took the boat up ther but didnt get to do any fishing. just wondering if anyone ever ventured off up that way to do any striper fishing. the lake is very deep with pelnty of rocky points. thinking bout going back in a week or so...

It's a great striper lake, very little pressure, boat traffic. The NGSC has had a few club tournaments there over the years and we have always caught fish. Dirk Dial of Team Downliners goes there fairly often. He had a recent post on the bass fishing home page, if you want to try and contact him.

My father went out with a guide there some years ago. They had a good day striper fishing.
