The striper fishing was much better today. The fish have moved out of the channel into the large coves in the mouths of the creeks on the south end. This morning all of my fish came on a 40 ft bottom with the herring on a downline at 30 ft. The baits are beginning to live much better on the hook. Did not see any surfacing action but it is soon on its way. Be sure to keep a redfin tied on at all times. The bomber bite should start shortly at night as well. North Ga fishing recently got in a shipment of A-salt bombers in pink. This color is not normally made in the A-salt. Over the years this color has produced more fish for me than any other color. At night I always have one tied in the boat. Being in the A-salt it is going to be deadly on the stripers. I highly recommend picking one or more up.
