Got on the lake today about mid-morning. Went on up to Balus and dropped some lines in. The wind got up pretty good, too. In the mouth, the water was slightly stained and around 47 degrees. Only managed to land a couple twins that went about 15 pds. Lost a few that I think were bigger. Just myself in the boat so didnt get as many lines out as i would have liked to. Pulled some small and large gizzards, but only got strikes on the smaller baits(6-10in). Going out again tomorrow with a buddy. Probably start with the north banks, since the wind was pushing so hard on them. If anybody has landed a nice fish lets here about it. Anyway, goodluck and see ya out there!
