Water temp finally warming up a little. Water is mostly 46 degrees with a few warmer areas up in the creeks. The best luck we had this week was crappie fishing. The crappie are under the deep docks. The 1/32oz popeye jig is the way to go. Trips have been slow so I have not been striper fishing as much. A variety of methods have been catching the fish. Everyone seems to be doing something different. Casting bucktails, umbrellas, downlines with herring, and freelines. Take your pick. As always you just got to find some active fish. With the water this cold still don't expect one spot to produce every day. If they don't show up where you caught them last keep moving.
