After a brutal day yesterday, the fishing was better today. Downlines with trout and threads have been producing as well as the u-rig. North end has been more consistent but the south end is producing some good fish. Birds were a big help today. Finding the fish has not been the hard part. The fish have been harder to convince to bite than normal.

What is the water temp out there? If you see loons and gulls is it worth it to check it out. are the fish surfacing? Is it worth it to troll the u-rigs where you see birds and loons hanging out?
