Am planning to fish Lake Hartwell on sunday-- trailering the boat and meeting a friend from charlotte. never fished hartwell-- any advice on marinas/baitshops and where to fish? My guess is that the ends of creeks like lanier is a good bet, but i've never fished hartwell-- north or south end? Best bait right now? U-rigs working?

The area around Conross Creek (back near the 1st bridge) and Twin Lakes has been pretty good lately from what I hear.
