I can say Tom is number one spot first registered and no one deserves it more because of all the work he did last year setting it up. The planning Tom did last year alone makes putting things together this year much easier can also say Tom is one t

I think they recovered his body yesterday. I'll reconsider wearing the vest at all times. It's hard to see myself wearing it when it is boiling hot though.

Good point on the vest in any type of water. Being a paramedic locally I have seen instances where people have hit their head or had a mild heart attack and drowned simply because they could not swim and stay afloat. Guys, WEAR YOUR VEST AT ALL TIMES

29s are Great but hard to find. 27s are the standard and fine for most aplications. Deka is hard to beat for the price. Go with a 5 or 10 amp charger not 15. My 2 cents

Way to go Jan and Dan. Last time I was out my trolling motor went crazy. Got an I-Pilot from Oakwood and my nephew installed it today. It works beautifully on land and can't wait to get it on the lake. See you on the lake soon. Thanks

To add to what Dan said, a full spool will also keep your drag system working properly. The more line out or missing means the drag is actually tighter. Thats why you might hear some people loosening the drag while playing a big fish. Drags are desig

Absolutely!!! you must have a full spool and then it will read right on. When you lose some line it will be off and the more line that is off the worse it will be magnified. I had one that I had lost about 150' off of in the summer when the fish were

laxcoach, it would be a good idea to wear the automatic vest even after the water hits 70 degrees. You never know when you might fall and hit your head. If you hit your head you might just sink fast and keep going. Can't swim to safety or climb ou
